OdorGone Industrial

Overview

OdorGone (OG) is a water based odor neutralizer.  It’s a blend of non-toxic, bio-degradable extracts and surfactants that easily modify unpleasant odors without any perfuming.  OdorGone works by bonding with the molecules of an odor, dropping the complex mass to a lower atmospheric level and biodegrading the mass.  The USDA has approved OdorGone.  OdorGone will not contaminate the working environment even if misused or by some form of application apparatus breakdown.

 

 

Uses

Wastewater plant head-works, clarifiers, filter buildings, activated sludge basins, lift stations, composting and other odor producing areas.  Effective on unpleasant odors such as ammonia, methyl mercaptans, hydrogen sulfide, tri-methylamine, chlorine, smoke, pet odors and mildew just to name a few.  Applications are anyplace where organic odors are produced in chemical, manufacturing, agricultural and transportation industries, hotels and restaurants, hospitals and nursing homes, animal clinics.

 

 

Products Replaced

Masking agents & perfumes, acids, caustics, oxidizing agents, activated charcoal, alcohols and incineration.  OG can replace and/or reduce the feed of sodium hypochlorite and caustic in scrubbers and thus reduce or eliminate the need for these hazardous/toxic chemicals.

 

 

Efficient

Geo-Thermal’s Heat Pump is nearly nine times more efficient than standard resistance heat.  The internal combustion engine, by nature is designed to efficiently reject the heat created during the combustion process.  This makes the simple act of maintaining the engine at a predetermined “ready” temperature, a costly exercise in contradiction.  Fighting efficiency in operating mode with efficiency in the stand-by mode, the Geo-Thermal Heat Pump can cut these costs!  The heat pump will maintain the entire engine block at the manufacturer’s recommended temperature. Yet can offer power savings as high as 84% when compared to the same performance for resistance heaters.  These enormous savings can be attributed to the Heat Pump’s designed duty cycle.  Or, if the resistance heater must run 95% of the time to keep the generator at 100o, the Geo-Thermal Heat Pump will run approximately 34% of the time to do the same job.
 

 

Method of Application

Proper application is critical to desired results.  OdorGone results are best achieved when a diluted blend is atomized into the atmosphere surrounding the problem area.  We can design fogging or atomizing systems that can cover areas up to 30,000 sq. yards or more.  A combination of smaller fixed or portable units may be used to cover similar areas.  Simple nozzle systems can be adapted to suit any industrial application.  We have small, medium and high volume standard off-the-shelf fogging systems as well as fan units for confined spaces.
 

 

Trials

We usually can provide systems for loan during a brief plant trial to show the effectiveness of OdorGone.  A brief trial will show if OdorGone works and only take a few hours.  After a successful brief Go or No-Go trial, the optimum dosage and application arrangement can only be determined by an extended plant trial.  A Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is available.
